A gifting initiative by the Children’s Book Project, expects 20,000 children’s books to find a new home this Christmas.

CPT provided a small grant in 2024, that enabled the charity to gift 7,200 books to 1,200 children across three London primary schools, increasing their access to high quality, relevant and interesting reading material to enjoy and share at home. Tackling homelessness…one person at a time.

In 2023, Charles Plater Trust chose Providence Row’s project ‘Routes to Roots’ (R2R), to be one of its large grants recipients, granting £50,000 over a two year period to fund a caseworker post. One year into project delivery, Bishop Paul McAleenan, the trustee project sponsor, visited the project and reflected with staff and service users on the achievements and challenges faced so far.
